FAQ
Where Are You Based?
Our Beeston branch is based at Ashbrooke Business Park, Units 17 & 18, on Parkside Lane LS11 5SF - just down the road from Hunslet Fire Station!
Are Trials Free?
Yes! :)
What Do You Teach?
We teach pretty much all the usual musical instruments: drums, piano, singing, violin, saxophone, bass, guitar, etc...
Are Your Teachers DBS Checked?
All our teachers are DBS checked and they all must go through safeguarding training, to ensure that all our students are safe and well taken care of.
Do You Teach Grades?
Yes, but... We don't typically push for standardised methods of evaluation and it goes against our learner-centred education ethos. We believe that everyone is unique and broad methods of assessment often fail to identify each students' unique skills and potential. However, when appropriate (for example, to support a student's college/uni application via UCAS points), we do offer support to students and their grades.
How Do Payments Work?
All our payments are made online using our Student Payment Portal. Payments are recurring and can either be direct debits or subscriptions - your choice. We do not accept cash or one-off bank transfers.
Are You Open During Half-Terms?
Yes, we are. We are open 48 weeks per year and close 2 weeks in the Summer and 2 weeks for Xmas/New Year's.
